When you start thinking or talking about things that scare you you’ll probably notice anxiety creeping up

Write a list of activities that give you social Anxiety

Social anxiety examples

Go to the grocery store by myself

Make a mistake in front of someone else

Give a presentation to others

Make small talk with a stranger or someone you know

Once you finish your list and look at the first one imagine yourself doing that, picture in your mind all the details of the experience including what you’re seeing hearing feeling and thinking

Start practicing each activity on your list until you feel confident. It’s okay to feel fear as you practice each activity you will feel better the more you do it, rate your intensity level from 0 to 100 and after you complete each activity write down how you feel in a journal.
